Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Mix the stuffing – In a large bowl, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, green onions, garlic, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir until well blended.
  • Coat the shrimp – Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the mixture and gently toss until fully coated.
  • Assemble – Transfer the shrimp mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  • Add the topping – Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the shrimp mixture.
  • Bake – Place the dish in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the shrimp are cooked through and the top is golden and bubbly.
  • Serve – Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy warm!

Notes

  • Shrimp size matters – Large shrimp work best, but you can use medium shrimp if needed. Adjust cooking time accordingly.
  • Make it crispier – Broil the casserole for the last 2-3 minutes for a golden, crispy top.
  • Lemon boost – Serve with fresh lemon wedges for an extra citrusy kick.
  • Gluten-free option – Substitute gluten-free breadcrumbs to make this dish gluten-free.
  • Cheese swap – Try sharp cheddar or Gruyère for a different cheesy twist!
