  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary

Instructions

  1. Arrange the chicken thighs in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. Layer the carrots, potatoes, onion, and garlic on top.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together chicken broth, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper. Pour over the ingredients.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6–8 hours or high for 3–4 hours, until the chicken is tender.
  5. Stir in frozen peas 30 minutes before serving and let them heat through.
  6. Shred the chicken with two forks, return it to the stew, and mix gently.
  7. Taste and adjust seasoning, then garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
