Instructions

  • Prepare the Meatballs: In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Form into 1-inch meatballs.
  • Brown the Meatballs: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and brown the meatballs on all sides for 5-7 minutes. Transfer to the slow cooker.
  • Make the Gravy: In the same skillet, sauté mushrooms for 3-4 minutes until tender. Stir in beef broth, onion soup mix, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour over the meatballs.
  • Slow Cook: Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the meatballs are fully cooked and tender.
  • Thicken the Gravy (Optional): Mix cornstarch with water to make a slurry and stir it into the slow cooker during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
