Description
This is hands-down the easiest peach cobbler recipe you’ll ever make. With just a handful of pantry staples and a can of peaches, you can whip up a warm, buttery dessert that tastes like it took way more effort than it actually did. Perfect for a last-minute gathering or a cozy night in.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 stick of butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 can peaches (15 ounces, do not drain)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F.
- Place the stick of butter in a baking dish and put it in the oven to melt.
- While the butter melts, stir together the sugar, flour, and milk in a bowl until smooth.
- Once the butter is melted, remove the dish from the oven and pour in the entire can of peaches with the juice.
- Gently pour the batter mixture over the peaches and butter don’t stir!
- Sprinkle a little extra sugar on top if you like things sweeter.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and slightly crisp.
- Let cool just a bit, then dig in (bonus points if you add vanilla ice cream).
Notes
- Want more texture? Add a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg to the batter.
- This works great with canned pears or mixed fruit too!
- Don’t stir once you’ve layered everything — that’s how you get the golden, cobbled top.
